The Kroměříž Summer Music Academy is opening applications for this year.

Young musicians and students now have the opportunity to register for the summer music festival
academy in Kroměříž. Its seventh year takes place from August 15 to 23, 2024.
The ranks of teaching lecturers once again include extraordinary Czech and foreign names
classical music. The artists will present themselves not only as mentors to young musicians, but
also in the program of the accompanying festival intended for the general public.
The content of the Kroměříž Academy, in addition to its qualitative line, is unique in its intensive
connecting theory with practice, the opportunity to study solo and orchestral playing at the same time, and apply
about participating in the main festival concerts. Interesting fields are also music
management or accompaniment. "Musicians and singers can apply for individual
solo disciplines, chamber string ensembles, students and managers from the field of music
management with their projects and those interested in practical management of a prestigious music school
"a project from the field of production," said the academy's artistic director Tomáš Netopil.
This year, for example, students of the singing school can look forward to a unique experience.

Dalibor Karvay (violin), Michaela Fukačová with assistance from Philippe Muriset
(cello), Barbara Maria Willi (harpsichord) and Pavel Nikl (viola and chamber music).
The music management lecturer will be David Mareček, piano collaboration will be Zdeněk
Klaud and the orchestra's direction was Tomáš Netopil.
The selected students will have nine days to gain new knowledge and experience, meet
meet world stars during lessons and on stage and learn about the rich musical history
and the beauty of the city of Kroměříž. "Extraordinarily talented participants can receive a nomination
for performing with a philharmonic orchestra or for one of the awards given

successes on stages at home and abroad and receive numerous other awards,
