Fedor Rudin
Fedor Rudin is one of the most prominent European violinists of his generation. He performs internationally as a soloist, chamber musician, conductor and teacher. His interpretation combines technical brilliance, stylistic sensitivity and extraordinary musical curiosity, ranging from classical repertoire to historically informed interpretation and contemporary music.

fedorrudin.comFedor Rudin is a laureate of the Premio Paganini and George Enescu competitions and regularly performs with leading orchestras in Europe, North and South America and Asia. He has collaborated with conductors including Tomáš Netopil, Vladimir Jurowski, Petr Popelka, Lorenzo Viotti and Andris Poga. The 2026/2027 season will include his debut with the Tonkünstler Orchestra, a recital at the Salle Bourgie in Montreal and returns to orchestras in Denmark, Norway and Japan.
Chamber music is an important part of his artistic life. He regularly collaborates with leading world performers and is a co-founder of the Fratres Trio, whose projects combine classical music with jazz. He has also been devoted to 20th and 21st century music for a long time, including the works of his grandfather, avant-garde composer Edison Denisov.
In addition to his concert career, he is actively involved in teaching and conducting. He is a professor of orchestral education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and has been the artistic director of the Rencontres Musicales de Chaon festival in France since 2022. His experience as concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic and his extensive international career give him a unique perspective that he passes on to a young generation of musicians.
