LHAK will culminate with a concert by the academic orchestra conducted by Tomáš Netopil
The soloists, as well as the orchestra composed of students from this year's International Academy in Kroměříž under the direction of conductor Tomáš Netopil, will present themselves to the public at the Nadsklepí Cinema on Thursday, August 24 at 19 p.m. The evening will also include the announcement of the Academy's laureates.
The last evening of the 6th year of the Summer Music Academy will belong to its students. Solo performances by cello, violin or piano students will be heard on stage. There will also be a student chamber orchestra led by conductor and artistic director of LHAK Tomáš Netopil. He will perform Moravian Dances by musician Jiří Pavlica. who will come to perform the composition in person. "We are pleased that Jura Pavlica himself will come to perform the composition, which is based on folk dances from various regions of Moravia, and he will have the opportunity to hear it performed by our orchestra," said Tomáš Netopil.
The best students of this year will also be awarded. The laureates will then have the opportunity to perform next year during one of the major concerts of the 7th year of the Kroměříž Summer Music Academy.
