The Kroměříž Summer Music Academy will welcome Michaela Fukačová, Dalibor Karvay and others in August
Kroměříž will once again come alive with classical music. From August 18 to 25, it will offer young musicians lessons under the guidance of top classical music performers, as well as an attractive program for the public. The accompanying program will include a concert with two conductors, a baroque ensemble, lectures and extraordinary performances by artists. In addition to conductor Tomáš Netopil, the audience will be introduced to Fedor Rudin, Jiří Vodička and Barbara Maria Willi. Tickets are already on sale on the academy's website.
The International Summer Music Academy promises young musicians from nine countries a program full of music, unusual experiences and new musical experiences shared with top classical music performers. Singer Adam Plachetka will be among the academy's lecturers for the first time this year. However, the world-famous cellist living in Denmark, Michaela Fukačová, piano virtuoso Ivo Kahánek, violist Pavel Nikl and the general director of the Czech Philharmonic, David Mareček, who will lead the study for music managers, will also be present. The accompanist training will then be supervised by Zdeněk Klauda.
In addition to them, this year's academy and festival will also bring other interesting names. Four concertmasters of top orchestras will be introduced here. Soloists and concertmasters of the Czech Philharmonic – Jan Mráček as a lecturer and Jiří Vodička as a performer. The Vienna Symphony Orchestra is represented in the same position by the top Slovak violinist Dalibor Karvay. And the foursome will be completed by one of the world's most interesting violinists and now also a lecturer at the academy, Fedor Rudin, who also held the first chair of the Vienna Philharmonic in the past.
During the accompanying program of the academy, classical music lovers can expect, for example, the festive symphonic concert Consecration of the House, which the organizers are preparing for Sunday, August 20, in the renovated premises of the Chamber Hall of the Archbishop's Palace. In addition to the great performances of the three best students from last year, the concert will also present a rarity. "During the evening, the elite world conductor and artistic director of the Kroměříž Academy, Tomáš NETOPIL, will be replaced by violinist and conductor Fedor Rudin in the leadership of the orchestra," pointed out the executive director Jana Kubáčová and invited to the other program of the Hudební Kroměříž festival: "The baroque concert will also be unusual, offering a glimpse into the local extraordinary music archive, Professor Cyril Höschl will return after years with an engaging lecture, the Opera Gala will present the students of the world singer Adam Plachetka and a composition by Jiří Pavlica will be performed."

A week before the start of the Hudební Kroměříž festival, tickets will also be available for purchase at the Kroměříž Music School office.
