The Kroměříž Music Festival will bring a rich program for the public this summer.

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Together with the third year of the Summer Music Academy of conductor Tomáš Netopil, the Music Kroměříž festival will take place in Kroměříž. From August 14 to September 11, it will offer the general public an encounter with music - concerts and interesting lectures are prepared. New this year are benefit concerts.

The Classical Music Festival Hudební Kroměříž is held as an accompanying program to the Summer Music Academy. It will connect talented emerging artists with world-famous performers and will bring music lovers delicacies from the works of Beethoven, Vivaldi, Zelenka, Mozart, Bieber and others. "We will perform in beautiful Kroměříž interiors," adds artistic director Tomáš Netopil, adding that the entire accompanying program will be a sign of cooperation, support and mutual connection.

The festival will open on August 14 with a benefit chamber concert "With the Scent of Baroque" in the rotunda of the Flower Garden in Kroměříž, featuring mezzo-soprano Jarmila Balážová, soprano Tereza Maličkayová, Barbara Maria Willi (harpsichord), Adam Plachetka (vocals), Tomáš Netopil (violin), Vilém Veverka (oboe), Pavel Nikl (viola) and others.

Tomáš Netopil will be discussing with well-known artists and lecturers of the music academy on August 15th at the Nadsklepí cinema. The topics will include not only art, music education and working with talent, but also a look behind the scenes of the music world.

Another benefit orchestral concert, the LHAK Gala Concert, will be hosted by the Květná zahrady greenhouse on August 16. Under the baton of Tomáš Netopil, the sopranos Kateřina Kněžíková and Tereza Maličkayová, Matteo Hager (violin), Ferdinand Pavel Slezák (violin) will perform together with the Bohuslav Martinů Zlín Philharmonic, and Cyril Höschl will accompany the performance.
This psychiatrist and popularizer of science will also be available to meet a day later, on August 17, at the Nadsklepí cinema at the lecture "Gustav Mahler - psychodynamic connections".

Those interested can listen to the successful graduates of the International Summer Music Academy Kroměříž at the Closing Concert on August 18th in the Nadsklepí cinema.

The Kroměříž Summer Music Academy project was taken over by the Minister of Culture, Lubomír Zaorálek. The project will be implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the Zlín Region.
