The greatest aces of classical music Kateřina Kněžíková, Ivo Kahánek, Michaela Fukačová and Adam Plachetka will arrive in Kroměříž

The Kroměříž Summer Music Academy under conductor Tomáš Netopil is now opening courses for solo players, chamber music and orchestral music.In addition to Tomáš Netopil, the LHAK 2022 lecturers will be Kateřina Kněžíková (vocals), Ivo Kahánek (piano), Michaela Fukačová (cello), Pavel Nikl (viola, chamber music), Fedor Rudin (violin), Barbara Maria Willi (harpsichord), David Mareček (music management), Zdeněk Klauda (piano collaboration) and Petr Ries (double bass).
This year's lecturers will include the charismatic young French-Russian violinist, top soloist and conductor, former concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic, Fedor Rudin, who is currently the guest conductor of the Georgian National Philharmonic. "Fedor accepted a last-minute invitation last year and brilliantly replaced one of the lecturers who fell ill. The city and the atmosphere of the academy enchanted him so much that he enthusiastically accepted our invitation this year as well. We are very happy that one of the most unique concert artists of the current generation will strengthen our teaching team," said the artistic director of the academy, Tomáš Netopil.
Every year, the academy also includes a special field of study focused on music management under the leadership of the Czech Philharmonic's general director David Mareček. " Until now, its students have not had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in practice directly during the academy. This year, however, its participants will have the unique opportunity to participate in the complete preparation and production of the ceremonial closing concert for the first time. For them, the activity will start in advance, several months before the academy," explained the academy's executive director Jana Kubáčová.
