The opening concert was attended by many celebrities
The first concert of this year was not missed by important guests: the Governor of the Zlín Region, Ing. Radim Holiš, the Archbishop of Olomouc and Metropolitan of Moravia, Mons. Jan Graubner, Daniela Hebnarová for the city of Kroměříž, the Kroměříž native and current Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Radek Vondráček, and the violinist from Hradišťan, Jiří Pavlica, also appeared in the audience.
The entire evening was accompanied by the general director of the Czech Philharmonic, David Mareček. Conductor Tomáš Netopil conducted the top violinist Jiří Vodička, as well as a very talented representative of the upcoming generation of young artists, last year's LHAK laureate - holder of the Academy of Classical Music Award, violinist Roman Červinka. The soloists were accompanied by the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic in Zlín.
The program offered compositions by Johannes Brahms, Niccolò Paganini, Pablo de Sarasate, followed after the break by Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky.
