The 5th year of the International Summer Music Academy Kroměříž is approaching, the registration system has been launched

The Kroměříž Summer Music Academy of conductor Tomáš Netopil will take place from August 12 to 20, 2022. Courses will be open for solo players in the fields of violin, cello, viola, harpsichord, double bass, piano, singing, accompaniment and studies for music managers. Furthermore, the LHAK is opening chamber music under the direction of Pavel Nikl, and string students can try orchestral music under the direction of conductor Tomáš Netopil.A unique opportunity to meet and learn from top classical music performers. This is the Summer Music Academy in Kroměříž (LHAK). Young musicians interested in this experience can apply for this year's academy from the beginning of February. The application deadline is June 12, 2022. To join the implementation team in the "Music Projects" section, you must submit an application by February 28, 2022.
In addition to Tomáš Netopil, the lecturers for LHAK 2022 will be Ivo Kahánek (piano), Fedor Rudin (violin), Kateřina Kněžíková (vocals), Michaela Fukačová (cello), Barbara Maria Willi (harpsichord), Pavel Nikl (viola, chamber music), David Mareček (music management), Zdeněk Klauda (piano collaboration) and Petr Ries (double bass).
Solo courses will be taught from August 12 to 20. The string orchestra will also work in parallel, which will then continue with a September training camp in Prague. The orchestral academy will be held in cooperation with the Academy of Classical Music, the organizer of the Dvořák Prague festival.

The general public will be invited to an accompanying program that forms the classical music festival Hudební Kroměříž. It will include concerts, interesting lectures and workshops from August 10 to 22. Tomáš Netopil took on the dramaturgy of the festival, and the space will be given to both successful students of the academy, their famous lecturers and other musical guests. The concerts will largely take place in UNESCO monuments.
