Academy Kroměříž combines a classical music festival with international master classes. These are led by renowned performers who perform on world stages. In one week, concert practice meets intensive education for young musicians.

The Summer Music Academy is intended for students of conservatories, universities and young artists who want to develop their talent under the guidance of experienced lecturers and gain inspiration in a professional environment.

The educational part of the academy takes place in the historic heart of the city of Kroměříž, in the baroque buildings of the Kroměříž Elementary School of Art and the PJ Vejvanovský Kroměříž Conservatory. The unique environment emphasizes concentration, intensity of work, and encounters across disciplines.

Festival concerts take place in the Chamber Hall of the Archbishop's Castle and other exceptional halls and corners of the city. It is the combination of historical spaces, high-quality dramaturgy and classical music personalities that creates the atmosphere that is typical of Academy Kroměříž.
